Parax Hybrid electric vehicle

This is a project of designing and manufacturing a hybrid electric vehicle for Iranian Machine Design Competition. The competition was attended by 21 teams from universities across the country in 2010 and our Team  named “PARAX” Reached the first place.

I was the head industrial designer in this project and my role was designing and manufacturing the body. It was a major facelift from Kia-Pride car and made by fiberglass with hand lay-up process.

All body part models made with MDF by CNC machining process and all molds made with fiberglass-epoxy composite.  The final body kits are made from fiberglass polyester resin and then polished and painted manually in the workshop. below you can see me presenting our car in competition and the 1/16 mock up that made with poly urethane for this competition.
