Cartesian Robot




 It is a Cartesian system  that moves in two, orthogonal axes — X, and Z — according to the Cartesian coordinates. In other words, An automatically controlled, reprogrammable, multipurpose manipulator programmable in two or more axes, which is fixed in place for use in industrial automation applications.

 

 It uses 2 servomotors with planetary gearbox and high speed rails and wagons.

average Speed is 1.5 m/s for the Z axis and 2 m/s for the X axis. Accelerations reach to 3 g in some conditions
